Chapter 105 Meeting Potential In-laws.

"Baby boy."

"Mom? What's up!"

"I'm good. I just got back from visiting your grandfather."

"The one who abandoned you?"

"Yeah. That stupid old man. Anyways, I need you to come home. Come along with all your girls and bring your brother too."

"Is it training time?"

"Not yet. This something much more necessary. It seems people are starting to become aware of your existence. So come along with them, okay?"

"Should I be worried about anything?"

"Don't be baby boy. It just some alliances which are going to be officialized... let's put it that way."

"Okay! Got you. I'm coming there right now!"

"Hold on! We moved to my actual residence. I will send you the location. Come there. It should be close by the academy."

"Okay mother."

"See you soon. Love you."

"Love you too, ma."

...

A beautiful black TerraEdge stopped in front of a huge house. Calling what was in front of them a house was an understatement. The white building was very huge with tall walls. It was the only building which had separated itself from the buildings in this area. This place was Relcon Street, one of the areas where the rich stayed. All the houses in this area belonged to the rich, but just looking at this building, it made all the others look like buildings for poor people.

The outer gate towered high, a sleek fusion of reinforced graphene and luminescent panels, glowing faintly with a cool blue hue that shifted to gold as the TerraEdge's proximity sensor triggered the automated opening mechanism. The gates moved soundlessly, a testament to the advanced technology that pervaded every aspect of this place. The perimeter wall was equally imposing—an unbroken expanse of pristine white with intricate, glowing circuitry etched into its surface, pulsating faintly like the heartbeat of the mansion itself. At regular intervals, sleek black surveillance drones hovered silently above, their lenses shifting and glinting as they scanned for any unauthorized movement.

As the TerraEdge slid smoothly through the gates, the compound unfolded like a scene from a futuristic dream. A wide, meticulously paved driveway led to the main building, flanked on both sides by lush, bioengineered gardens. The plants shimmered faintly under the dim glow of artificial sunlight radiating from strategically placed floating orbs, ensuring the perfect atmosphere regardless of the natural weather. Exotic flora flourished in carefully designed tiers, some glowing softly, others releasing a faint mist that perfumed the air with a delicate, otherworldly fragrance. A cascading water feature dominated the center of the driveway—a sculptural marvel where streams of water defied gravity, spiraling upward before vanishing into thin air.

The house itself was a masterpiece of architecture and technology. Its facade was a blend of ultra-modern and futuristic styles, a symphony of clean, angular lines and smooth curves that seemed to defy conventional design principles. The massive structure gleamed under the artificial light, its surfaces alternating between matte white panels and glass-like materials that shimmered with shifting colors, reflecting the sky and surroundings. Towering spires rose from the building's main body, some capped with glowing tips, others acting as hubs for hovering platforms that seemed to come and go with no visible support.

A massive entrance framed by a pair of towering columns awaited at the top of a set of wide, gently glowing steps. The columns themselves were not static; holographic patterns danced across their surfaces, displaying abstract art that shifted as one moved closer. Beyond the entrance, massive floor-to-ceiling windows revealed a glimpse of the interior, where crystalline chandeliers floated mid-air and soft ambient light illuminated sleek, ultramodern furnishings.

The flooring beneath their feet was impossibly smooth, made of an advanced composite material that adjusted its temperature to provide comfort. Every step was cushioned slightly, as though the floor was alive and attuned to their presence. Ornate rugs with intricate, pulsating patterns ran along certain pathways, leading deeper into the house.

To their left was the main living room, separated by a shimmering, semi-transparent energy field that parted gracefully as they approached. The room was vast but felt intimate, with a sunken seating area filled with plush, modular couches arranged in a circular pattern around a central holographic display table. The table projected a three-dimensional map of the galaxy, its constellations sparkling as if they were plucked straight from the night sky. Along the walls, art pieces came to life—digital masterpieces that shifted and evolved, reflecting the mood of the occupants.

"Take a seat, everyone," Madeleine said, gesturing toward the couches. "You must be tired after such a long day."

"No time for sitting yet, Mom," Ethan replied, smirking. "You're just going to fuss over us again."

"Fuss? Me?" Madeleine's laugh was as warm and expansive as the house itself.

From the right, another doorway led to the dining area. A long, sleek table seemed to float a few inches above the ground, its surface a seamless expanse of dark glass. It adjusted its length dynamically, and its edges glowed faintly, matching the ambient light in the room. Overhead, a chandelier of countless tiny, hovering lights shifted color and intensity based on conversation and mood, a living centerpiece for every meal.

The kitchen beyond was a masterpiece of modern culinary technology, filled with gleaming appliances that operated with minimal input. Autonomous cooking assistants zipped around silently, ensuring everything was always prepared to perfection.

Madeleine clasped her hands together, grinning. "Now, who's hungry? Dinner will be ready in no time, and I have something special prepared for all of you!"

Her voice echoed softly as she led the group deeper into the mansion, past rooms and corridors that hinted at wonders yet unseen—study chambers where bookshelves floated, relaxation rooms with pools of water that defied gravity, and balconies that opened to vast, digitally-enhanced vistas.

This home, with its blend of warmth, luxury, and cutting-edge technology, was more than a residence. It was a testament to Madeleine's love and her wealth.

...

After dinner, they met once again in the living room.

"While we wait for our visitors, let me break it down a bit for you." Madeleine stated with a serious tone, different from her earlier playful mood.

"The parents of the girls are the visitors we are waiting for." Madeleine said with a mischievous smirk.

""""What?!"""

"God! We are so dead!" Ethan exclaimed with a white face.

"I'm too young to die! Come on mom!" Trevor was almost on the verge of tears.

Ding-dong!

"It seems they are here. This will be so fun." Madeleine said in an anticipatory tone.

"Fuck!"
