Chapter 357 A small help

Mikala and Nessa went to the back of the castle, where there was an open field and there was a large garden nearby with a stream not far from it and Nessa smiled as she looked at it.

"Your home is beautiful," Nessa said and Mikala smiled at her.

"Yeah, it is but I hope it can become more beautiful," She replied and Nessa glanced at her with her eyes narrowing then she approached the girl and Mikala looked at her.

"You, why are you among the candidates?" Nessa asked and the princess's eyes widened as she stared at Nessa.

"Why would you ask that?" The girl asked.

"You are one of the kids of the king, it doesn't matter whether you are young or not, that much I do know, that's why I asked," She responded and the girl lowered her head.

"Because I don't want to be one of the candidates and I am not fit as well," She said and Nessa glanced at her and she scoffed.

"You can't just decide that, why do you think that you are not fit to be one?" Nessa asked and the girl looked at her then looked at the palms of her hands.

Nessa sighed, realizing that if the girl couldn't answer her at the moment, she might as well not push it because sometimes, situations like those do not end well and she wondered whether the girl, even had the correct answer or not since sometimes the answer would be wrong, especially in situations like theirs.

"Well, you don't have to answer me, I am still a stranger to you," Nessa said.

"You are right about that, you are still a stranger and it would be best to not ask certain things," The knight that was always with her said as he approached them from behind and Nessa glanced at him and he looked at her as he stood beside the princess.

"What are you doing here?" The princess asked and he looked at her.

"So what you want is for me to point you in the right direction, to help you with fixing your mistakes and get it right, am I right?" Nessa asked and both of them looked at her.

"Yeah, that's exactly what I want," She responded.

"I can help you as well, I told you that before, you didn't need to worry about my schedule, I have the time, but I understand why you didn't ask as well, there are many reasons, so, ma'am, will you help the princess in my space?" The knight asked and the princess's eyes widened as she looked at him then a gentle smile appeared on her face.

"Despite being different in status, you two seem to be good friends," She said and they looked at her.

"We are, this is Zack," Mikala replied and he was about to bow his head to Nessa then she brought forth her hand and he looked at her then she smiled and he smiled back at her.

"Call me, Nessa," She said.

"Well, nice to meet you, Nessa," He replied as he shook her hand.

"Nice to meet you as well, Zack," She said with a smile, then they released each other's hand and Nessa sighed.

"I have more things to do, but I can spare time and one thing is for sure, I was right and something is more than bothering the princess, I will see if I can help her too and maybe this will help me with my job as well, I am pretty sure it's connected,' Nessa thought as the princess peeked at her and she glanced at her.

"IS something wrong?" Mikala asked.

"No, there is nothing wrong, I was just thinking about a few things just now," She responded then looked at Zack.

"Zack, I will accept your request and I will help her in your space," She said and Zack smiled, then Mikala smiled brightly and both of them thanked Nessa and she smiled at them, then patted Mikala on her shoulder as she looked around to see where she should start testing the girl.
