riki lowered his head without saying anything then she stretched to him, placed her hand under his chin, raising his head upwards and he looked at her then she smiled and his brows furrowed.
riki didn't want to disappoint or let down nessa and was willing to do what it took, especially to become stronger, so that he could protect their home.
"lady nessa..." he mumbled.
"i have never seen you judge yourself so much before, like you are right now, let's talk about it, either way, those whom i chose will be going, whether they like it or not and nothing will change my mind, call it forcing if you like, if that's what it takes, i am going to do it," she said as he and the others stared at her.
"we won't say anything because we know why you are doing it, it's only for our sakes, isn't it?" dalia asked and the demon glanced at nessa, as he ate and the girl smiled at dalia.
"yeah, you got that right, get yourselves prepared, also riki, you know that i believe in your, right?" she asked and his eyes widened as he looked at her and her eyes narrowed.
"i trust you and i know you can accomplish a lot of things, that's why when you come back, i plan on giving you the title to command the entire army that i am going to place in order now," she responded and he left staring at her.
"what? are you sure i am even suitable or strong enough for such a position?" he asked.
"she wouldn't have decided that if you weren't or aren't going to be, that much you should know by now, even i can tell, you have the potential, it is not a rash decision," the demon responded.
"no," she responded and a smirk appeared on his face as he leaned in closer to her.
the others turned away immediately and he placed his index finger on her chest and her eyes widened as she looked at him and his eyes shimmered a bit.
"i don't believe you, i am not stupid and i am different, you know that very well," he said and she grabbed onto his hand and moved it off of her.
she stood up then leaned in towards him and he glanced up at her before lifting his hand up and before she could say anything, he moved a strand of her hair, behind her ear and she scoffed.
"don't push it, also do you plan on sticking around?" she asked as she placed her finger under his chin and he gripped the back of her neck with his hand and she glanced at it.
'he is right, i cannot stick around, what the hell is this?' he thought.
'what the hell is this? why do i want to tease him?' she thought as she moved closer and he glanced at her as her lips got closer to his.
just then, dalia coughed and both of them pulled away from each other and nessa turned away, as did the demon and he sighed.
'he is pulling me along with his pace, damn it, this is not how it was supposed to be, i am not supposed to be charmed by the likes of him, a flirt!' she thought then scoffed.
"there are things that i have to take care of, i will see you guys later, in the meantime, do what you are supposed to and start packing as well," she said then left.
"i am leaving as well, see you guys later," he added as a scary look appeared in his eyes as well as a smirk on his face then he left and the others exchanged glances, as they were left alone, sitting there.
