Chapter 372 - 353 Lanci’s Ultimate Insult_1

Chapter 372 - 353 Lanci’s Ultimate Insult_1

In the Xue Yuan Province, at Chinston City, few people have ever truly seen the interior of the city-state’s underground prison.

The convicts they have previously captured, until they were reconditioned, had no opportunity to ever see daylight again.

Due to the recent increase in the number of offenders apprehended in Xue Yuan Province, the prison’s security and facility level have been continuously expanding. They have also earned a good income and secured considerable investments. Given this rate of development, it is expected to be listed on the capital’s stock exchange center next year.

At the lowest level of the prison, a spacious stone platform extends out, surrounded by towering stone walls, creating a semi-open space. Dim lights stand in every corner, casting dull halos that flicker off the stone walls. These unpredictable shadows add a sense of mystery and chill to this place.

Prison guards watch over the perimeter of the platform. They are handpicked bodyguards, and Loren has the utmost confidence in their loyalty and strength.

Anello was escorted all the way from Bonn City to Chinston City and then underground. Still under the control of the elite bodyguards, a dark sackcloth hood covered his head, preventing him from seeing his surroundings.

As they ventured deeper, the air started to become cold, mixed in with the musty odor emitted from the grim iron walls.

The only sounds he can hear were the deep sounds of water droplets and the distant rustling wind. The noise of the other convicts was conspicuously absent, as though this place was separate from the rest of the world; a forbidden, desolate space.

Finally, they stopped in front a large, chilly cell.

This single-cell room was uniquely equipped with several robust iron chains hanging from the center of the cage, connected to hoisting hooks. The chains came with locks and shackles designed to securely fasten a prisoner’s limbs.

Additionally, there was a door located at the side of the cell, the destination unknown to all.

At Loren’s instruction, Anello was quickly lifted by several elite bodyguards and bound by the iron chains, which securely fastened his limbs. Subsequently, they activated a mechanism, and the chains slowly hoisted Anello up, leaving him suspended in the air, with only his tiptoes brushing the floor.

Unable to move his body, Anello was left hanging like a roast duck, swaying slightly with the chains.

Loren slowly approached the cell, ripped off the sackcloth from Anello’s head, and removed the gag from his mouth. He then turned and left him locked in the cell, leaving Anello to resume his outbursts of rage.

"Rocky—! You’re severely lacking imagination if you think this cell can make me submit!"

Anello’s arrogance hadn’t diminished in the slightest. Despite his physical constraints, every struggle he made was filled with force as though he would break free from the chains the next second!

Anello’s voice reverberated from inside the cell, loaded with vicious threats and provocations,

"You’re all a bunch of weak ants! If you dare keep me alive and torture me in this place, once Lord Asksan rescues me, all of you will pay the price!"

His voice reeked of loathing, pure and higher than life itself.

In his eyes, the world had long since become his enemy. The destructive potency within him was like a volcano on the brink of eruption—it would have the power to destroy everything, even when sealed!

Far off.

Outside the cell was a similarly spacious platform, furnished with a few couches, from where they could watch the scenes unfold in the cell.

"Teacher Rocky McCarthy, Miss Sikder, please have a seat."

Loren gestured for the two to sit and rest, letting him handle the rest.

Sikder, a look of confusion across her face, wondered about Loren’s intentions. There weren’t even any torture instruments in the cell, so apart from intimidating Anello, she couldn’t figure out what Loren planned to do.

"Rocky! If our roles were reversed, I would show you what true cruelty is!!"

Each word from Anello was edged with venom, as if it were a promise, that once he broke free, he would make sure to fulfill his words.

Listening to Anello’s arrogant outbursts, Sikder couldn’t help but feel irate.

"Will you please shut him up."

Sikder turned to Loren and said.

Even confronting "Loren" did not cause him this much fear.

What followed was a profound fear and endless regret.

Even one hundred thousand Lorens would not be as horrifying as these men!!

"No, don’t! You fucking can’t do this!!"

Looking at the burly men approaching him, Anello’s forehead burst with blue veins, and he screamed hoarsely at Lanci.

But soon his line of sight was blocked by a Phantom Gang prisoner in front of him.

"I love this defiant look."

"Darling, hmm, you’re really strong."

Meanwhile, a burly man had come up behind Anello, stroking Anello’s cheek, whispering in his ear.

"Ah!! Get your hands off me!!"

The Saint of Nirvana, who had never been touched by a man like this before, was already feeling a shake in his soul.

"I heard you’re comparable to the Saint of Nirvana."

"Dare to do this to the Saint of Nirvana, the Bishop of Nirvana Asksan will definitely kill you!!"

Anello’s breath and voice were broken as he yelled.

"Oh? Darling, wouldn’t that be even more exciting? Do you think we would fear death if we get to spend a wonderful night with the Saint of Nirvana?"

The burly men from the Phantom Gang, upon hearing this, burst into laughter.

"Anello, how are you feeling now?"

Lanci, observing the changes in Anello’s expression from a distance, asked.

Seeing Anello finally showing some remorse, he also smiled contentedly.

"Don’t worry, this is just the beginning, what awaits you is this."

Shaar took out a large pair of iron tongs, shook them at Anello, after the burly men had their fun, he would surely let Anello experience an amplified version of absolute pleasure.

From this point on, Anello understood –

The other party truly had no intention of interrogating him! All that talk about love and enlightenment was deceptive!

The Saint of Hegemony was far crazier than him!!!

At the moment, a group of burly men had already surrounded Anello, they couldn’t wait any longer.

"No – don’t!!!"

Anello shrieked hoarsely, as if trying to muster all his strength to kick these people away. But him being hung up, his nearly numb legs had no strength whatsoever.

"Alright then, it’s time to hand it over to Shaar."

Lanci smiled, blocking Miss Sikder’s eyes with his hand, and he took her away from this platform.

Listening to the heart-wrenching scream of the Saint of Nirvana, which could even penetrate through walls, Miss Sikder followed Lanci out of the underground prison with her eyes closed.

Although she didn’t know exactly what happened, she felt pleased listening to that sound.
