Chapter 159: One-sided Massacre Part Two
Chapter 159: One-sided Massacre Part Two
Suddenly, the guard yelled, "Don’t call me idiotic. My name is Kempi!" He took a battle stance.
Akun spoke with a cold tone, his gaze narrowing from beneath his helmet. "I couldn’t care less what your name is. Everyone in your tribe will be dying tonight—man, woman, child. What point is there to learn the name of a man that will be dying soon."
Kempi spoke up with a frustrated and disgusted tone. "You monster! To talk about murder so casually. You truly deserve to be put down."
Akun’s tone turned even colder. "You must be one of those self-righteous hero types. You only care about your people, and the whole world could burn for all you care. You could murder over and over, and you would say it was for the greater good. If anyone should be called a monster, it should be you."
Akun then stretched out his hand, preparing to clutch it. But the dryad guard noticed when he had done the exact same thing earlier, so he swiftly jumped out of the way. The rubble in the surrounding area and the ground compressed and imploded.
Akun then mumbled, "Seems someone has been observant. Well, it doesn’t matter."Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Suddenly, Kempi felt an invisible force pulling him towards Akun’s outstretched hand. He thought to himself, "He must be pulling me in so he can end me the same way he did the other guard earlier!" He tried to resist the pull of Akun’s aspect power, but it was far too strong. As his feet slid on the ground towards Akun, he realized, "It’s no use. I can’t resist his pull.
I’ll have to improvise then." Kempi then stopped resisting and let Akun pull him in. As he flew towards Akun, he held his spear outward, hoping this force would help the spear impale Akun.
I wonder how my little Prin and my lovely Liva will manage without me."
His mood swiftly took a downward spiral as thoughts of his wife and son consumed him. "Sorry, little Prin... I guess daddy broke his promise about giving you a one-on-one lesson on the spear."
A tear streamed down from his left eye to the ground as he continued his thoughts. "And my lovely Liva, I’m sure you’re probably worried about me going on this mission, despite your concerns... " He managed a weak chuckle and said, "I can practically see your worried face. It’s always as cute as ever... I’m sorry.
I guess I won’t be able to share any of your homemade dinners with our sweet Prin again... I’m truly sorry."
His eyes slowly closed, and Kempi finally succumbed to his wounds.
As Akun continued his stride towards the castle, he was confronted by multiple guards. Unfortunately for them, they all met their demise at his hands, and not a single one was able to leave a scratch on Akun’s armor. Chaos was reigning, and no one could stop him.
Meanwhile, the princess received assistance as she headed to inform the elders of what was transpiring outside the castle walls.
As she walked slowly through the halls, she mused inwardly, "Truly terrifying, a force we shouldn’t have messed with. Because of my bad decision-making, my people are dying out there. I must ask the elders to lend us aid."
