Chapter 260 Genreia's Slient Responsibility

The princess paused for a few seconds, taking a slow breath in and then exhaling before she began, "My name is Genreia, daughter of the green dragon monarch, ruler of the green lands of Arcadia, and also heir to his throne."

Akun gazed at her, his purple eyes seeming to glow slightly as he briefly glanced at Mellin and Kaldarix. A thoughtful expression crossed his face. "I thought maybe what she said would be familiar to them because they were once dragons, but I guess it seems they really don't have their memories from when they were alive," Akun sighed.

Meanwhile, Princess Genreia mused, "Although I was not able to gaze at the dragon god's status window, I was able to gaze at the ones of the dragon monarchs. It seems that they have become puppets of some kind.

I don't detect any enslavement magic, and although they are just standing there, they are not giving off any life energy." She then narrowed her gaze, her green eyes shining slightly as she mused further, "Most likely, they are not the same dragon monarchs from before, but they both seem to have the exact same capabilities, such as their stats and skills.

However, they are missing a fundamental skill all dragons have, which is our dragon eyes and our dragon heart, allowing us to freely command our particular element."

She continued, "Instead, it seems this Identity skill and the ice and gold manipulation skills that they possess have taken their place, not having the same aura but still allowing them to wield their powers."

Suddenly, Akun's voice cut through her thoughts as he directed his gaze at her and asked, "So, how did you get here, and what are your motives?" His voice suddenly got more serious as he added, "And be sure to also tell me what this god contract skill of yours is; I am most curious."

As Chrono Nexus emerged, she giggled and said, "You called me quite early, master. What is the occasion?" She hurried over to his side, placing her arms on the left armrest of his throne as she leaned in close.

As Genreia saw the goddess of time call Akun "master," she was left utterly speechless and confused. The way the goddess acted was like a child excited to see her father or maybe a woman happy to see the love of her life. It created a rather awkward atmosphere in the throne room.

Akun removed his hand from the armrest, then placed it on Chrono Nexus's face and pushed her away because she was getting too close to his face. He then said, "I called you to ask you questions, not to accommodate any of your childish playtimes."

She let out a sigh and said, "Well, that's not fun." She then turned her cosmic gaze at Princess Genreia, causing her to visibly shiver in shock as the goddess looked at her. Chrono Nexus then asked, "And I guess the reason you called me here is because of her, the princess of the green dragon tribe?"

Chrono Nexus suddenly paused, her mind seeming to piece together rather awkward pieces of a puzzle her own mind came up with. This caused her to turn around and ask Akun, "Wait, did you agree to marry her?" She seemed rather worried, as if she had just witnessed a deep fear being realized.

Akun was slightly caught off guard by her question, causing him to blush slightly as he swiftly responded, "And what the hell made you come up with that conclusion? I only called you here because I want to find out if she really did make some contract with you. What's up with you suddenly throwing weird questions my way?"

The atmosphere in the throne room suddenly changed from its earlier tense state to a rather awkward one.
