Oliver then glanced over at Yefrit's unconscious body as he mumbled, "Guess what's left now is the big boy." Oliver then took slow steps towards him and began his little looting process. His nifty hands seemed like they already knew the location of every pocket in his robes, pulling out all sorts of stuff, from magic stones to magic lamps and other things. "This guy is weird.@@@@
It's like all the pockets in his robe are similar to those magic bags. They seem to be able to carry more than they actually show."
Oliver finally pulled out a necklace of some sort of blue orb wrapped around golden chains that seemed to have runic letters on them. "This seems old. Must be some sort of memento that belonged to a family member or something," Oliver remarked. He then closed his eyes and smiled as he said, "Well, it doesn't matter. Now that I've seen it, I'll be taking it."
....
"I don't think so," a voice suddenly echoed. Before Oliver could turn his gaze towards the source, the little trinket he was holding in his right hand was suddenly pulled away by a sudden force.
"The heck?" Oliver mumbled as he gazed at his right hand, where he had the trinket. He felt it suddenly leave, then finally turned his head towards the location the voice was coming from. His eyes fell on the figure of a woman with red hair and green eyes, dressed in white robes and golden accessories. She was the Mage Tower Master, Miss Cordillera.
As the holy knights present heard her voice addressing Oliver, they couldn't help but mumble amongst themselves. "Look, it's Lady Cordillera. Maybe she has finally decided to lend us a helping hand," remarked one knight. "I know once she joins us, she will be able to end this battle in a matter of three spells," another added.
"Hey, look, woman, the rule is: to the winner goes the spoils. I just defeated all these mages," Oliver's tone turned cold as he added, "or else I might have to bring you down from there to join the rest of your mage comrades."
As the clash of fist aganist sword echoed through the courtyard, Emaralis found herself impressed by Leona's strength. She couldn't deny that the intruder standing before her was a powerful opponent. With each strike, Leona displayed a level of skill and power that Emaralis had rarely encountered.
"Your strength is impressive," Emaralis conceded between parries, her voice strained from the exertion of battle.
Leona's gaze met Emaralis's, a mixture of respect and seriousness shining in her eyes. "I admire your resolve, human. But this ends here," she said, her voice cold as she suddenly decided to increase the speed of her punches.
With a swift motion, Leona brought her fist down upon Emaralis's sword, the force of the impact shattering the blade into pieces. As Emaralis stumbled backward, defenseless, Leona seized the opportunity. With one powerful punch, time seemed to slow down as she connected a punch to Emaralis' abdomen, sending her hurtling through the air, crashing through the imposing doors of the castle.
As Emaralis lay unconscious amidst the rubble, Leona's attention turned to Oliver, who was engaged in a flirtatious exchange with the woman who had been hovering in the air earlier.
"If you remain loyal and don't betray me, maybe your status in my eyes can be elevated," Oliver said as he placed his hands on Lady Cordillera's chin while she knelt on the floor before him. He tilted her head upwards so their gazes would meet, and she wore a rather flustered expression on her face.
She then mumbled, "Y-yes, master." Leona, seeing this, had a thousand and one questions come to her mind, but the one that seemed to possess the loudest voice was how Oliver went from threatening the woman who was in the air to having her kneeling before him and calling him master.
She then let out a sigh as she muttered, "Why do I even bother?" She realized that trying to wrap logic around Oliver's methods would not be an easy task, and she did not fancy the idea of wasting her time trying to do so.
With a stern expression, Leona called out to him, "Enough of that, Oliver. Focus on the task at hand. Let's finish this."
