Chapter 281 The Begining Of Intense Rivalry

Under the silvary glow of the crescent moon, the night enshrouded the forest, casting shadows that swayed from side to side among the trees. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, adding a whispering melody to the stillness.

Seated atop the castle roof, Akun leaned forward, his gaze fixed on the dragon princess beside him. "Genreia," he began, "what exactly is dragon aura?"

Genreia turned to face him, her features illuminated by the soft moonlight. The scales around her neck shimmered faintly, reflecting the silvery glow of the night. "Dragon aura," she explained, "is a unique energy that surrounds the bodies of dragons. It's distinct from mana, serving to enhance our physical capabilities and augment the power of our spells.

Additionally, it plays a crucial role in our ability to transform into human form."

As Genreia spoke, Akun's brow furrowed with curiosity. Inwardly, he called out to the system, "System, is what she's saying true? And do you possess knowledge of dragon aura?"

The system's voice echowed in his thoughts saying, [Affermative... And the system has been aware of it's existence.]

Confused and curious, Akun then asked, "If you did, why did you never mention it?" Akun asked, wanting to understand why the system kept such information that could have made him even stronger.

the system then replied saying, [The player never asked.]

"Are you serious right now?" Akun asked, not able to believe that that was the system's response. He then let out a sigh, redirecting his gaze towards the dragon princess Genreia, he asked, "So is there a way to control my dragon aura?"

Genreia mused silently to herself, "I don't know how the Dragon God got so strong without controlling his aura, but I can use this as an opportunity to get closer to him."

In response to his statement, both Chrono Nexus and Genreia fell silent, their expressions reflecting a mixture of respect and acceptance.

Akun's gaze shifted between Chrono Nexus and Genreia, his expression hinted at the fact he expected something from them. "Now, where and how should we start this training?" he asked, his voice calm yet serious.

Simultaneously, both Chrono Nexus and Genreia spoke up, their words overlapping in the air. "We'll need to find a spacious environment," they began, their voices harmonizing unintentionally, "since there's a high probability you could transform into a dragon during the process."

As the echoes of their voices faded, an awkward silence descended, punctuated only by the soft rustle of leaves in the night breeze. Chrono Nexus and Genreia exchanged an intense glance. A small hint of tension lingered between them.

Akun nodded thoughtfully, his gaze shifting between Chrono Nexus and Genreia. "Is that so?" he mused aloud, his tone contemplative.

"Yes," Chrono Nexus and Genreia confirmed, their eyes locking with each other's once more, the intensity of their gaze undiminished.

Just as Akun was about to ask another question, Phenor's voice echoed in his mind.

"My liege, I request an audience," Phenor's voice echoed in Akun's thoughts. "I wish to inform you of the completion of the tasks you had given me and the other Kingins."

A soft smile played across Akun's lips as he turned his attention back to Chrono Nexus and Genreia. "Enough of this," he said, his voice firm yet gentle. "I have other matters to attend to."

With a subtle gesture of his hand, Akun tapped into his aspect power, levitating gracefully into the castle through the windows of his royal chambers. The moonlight cast a silvery glow around him as he disappeared into the depths of the castle, leaving Chrono Nexus and Genreia behind to think about their next steps.
