Chapter 340 Young master Ark
Chapter 340 Young master Ark
In Arindale, there is a beautiful place called Elvendell, known for its harmony with nature. The homes here are crafted from the trunks of old oak trees and decorated with complex, swirling vines, making them look like elegant, living trees.
These wooden structures looked very similar to the homes preferred by Dryads, mythical beings thought to embody the forest. Some even believed that the Elves were actually descendants of these Dryads, born from a union between nature spirits and humans.
This union, however, bestowed upon the Elves a slightly lesser connection to the natural world compared to their Dryad ancestors.
The Great Dragonic War, a cataclysmic event that had ravaged Galeia millennia ago, had left a deep scar on Arindale. The once-unified Elven race had fractured, with some choosing to remain in Arindale's idyllic isolation, while others, yearning for a more active role in the world, had ventured out to other lands.
The streets of Elvendell were full of activity, showing vibrant Elven life. Elves, with their pointed ears and timeless beauty, moved gracefully. Their flowing robes matched the lush greenery around them.
Unlike the chaotic and mostly unorganized state of human cities, Elvendell was meticulously planned, every building and pathway designed to exist in harmony with the natural world.@@@@
However, for all its beauty, Arindale was not without its drawbacks. The Elves, with their long lifespans and profound connection to nature, held a set of laws and customs far stricter than those found in human nations.
These regulations, while designed to protect their pristine environment, often made life difficult for other races who yearned for a less rigid lifestyle.

The idea of facing both threats at the same time excited Ark. Here, in the green embrace of the forest, he, Ark Deus Aionysius, would be the only defender, the guardian against the approaching darkness.
A mischievous glint flickered in his colour changing eyes. This night, he would etch his name in legend.
Genesis, ever the voice of caution, chimed in with a worried flutter of her wings. "†[Lord Ark]†," she began, her voice laced with concern, "†[was it truly necessary to travel all this way alone? What if your presence here jeopardizes the mission Master entrusted to us?]†"
Ark chuckled, a hint of amusement dancing in his colour changing eyes. "Ah, Genesis," he replied, his voice radiating a casual calmness, "never forget what Aric, and for that matter, Father, always say. Everything that's happening now has happened before. This is merely a loop, a predetermined course of events. So worry not, little one."
He paused, glancing around at the bustling Elven crowd. "For now," he continued, a playful glint entering his eyes, "our main focus should be securing a comfortable spot to sit back and observe. After all, the main event isn't upon us just yet, wouldn't you agree?"
Genesis hovered beside him, her brow furrowed in a semblance of worry, "†[But Lord Ark]†," she persisted, "†[what if something unexpected occurs? What if this period deviates from the previous loop?]†"
Ark waved a dismissive hand. "Even then, my presence wouldn't alter the outcome," he countered with a confident smirk. "Besides, wouldn't it be a tad boring to simply wait at that hidden outpost Father designated? Here, in the heart of Elvendell, I can enjoy the spectacle firsthand, instead of just arriving at the time the chaos finally peaks."
Genesis sighed, a sound like wind rustling through leaves. While she understood Ark's desire for excitement, his tendency for recklessness often left her feeling uneasy. Yet, she knew arguing with him was a futile endevor. With a resigned shake of her head, she conceded, "†[Very well, Lord Ark. However, if things take a turn for the worse, you must prioritize completing the mission.]†"
Ark winked at his spectral companion. "Of course, Genesis," he chuckled. "Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of jeopardizing the grand scheme of things."
With that, Ark, his silver and gold hair catching the sunlight, made his way through the crowd of Elves, his colour changing eyes scanning the bustling streets. He was a storm brewing beneath a calm exterior, a wildcard in a meticulously planned loop, and the approaching chaos was his symphony.
