Exorcist's Self-Cultivation

Chapter 212 Totem worship

Chapter 212 Totem worship

When Tom heard Du Wei's words, his gaze immediately became alert as he looked around.@@@@

"You're not joking, right? Something really came out?"

The surroundings were eerily quiet, with only the dense sound of rain audible, the air moist and sticky.

The entrance to the Horror House was cordoned off with isolation tape, which seemed somewhat bizarre in this setting, yet there was no visible problem.

But Du Wei said with certainty, "Indeed, something came out, but I don't know which one it was." Explore more adventures at My Virtual Library Empire

Tom was stunned for a moment before he realized what Du Wei meant and hurriedly asked, "What? There are many evil spirits in the Horror House?"

"Yes..."

After Du Wei finished speaking, he fell silent and quickly walked towards the exit of the Horror House, umbrella in hand.

Tom gritted his teeth and followed closely behind, "Fuck! Don't run so fast; I'm really scared being alone!"

Half of the Horror House was underground, and the exit and entrance were not in the same place.

After circling around, the two arrived at the elevator Du Wei had used when he left initially.

Of course.

Now that the entire amusement park had been shut down without electricity, the elevator naturally could not operate.

However, when the two reached the exit, the scene that met their eyes startled Tom.

At the exit.

The previously closed elevator doors were now open, and inside were dried, brownish handprints of blood everywhere, and the mirrors deliberately installed to create a horrifying atmosphere were covered with dense cracks.

The blood handprints covered the entire interior of the elevator, appearing chaotic and jumbled, easily conjuring images of the bloody scene that had once taken place there.

Du Wei's gaze turned slightly cold as he looked at the outlines of those blood handprints, his expression becoming extremely serious.

He noticed the fingers on the blood handprints were slender, and the joints were very distinct, looking like the hands of a skeleton.

The entire scene was bloody and eerie.

For some reason, a gloomy sense of oppression slowly emerged in Du Wei's heart.

But he was used to it and even pondered, beginning to think silently in his mind.

"When I was in the Horror House, I encountered two evil spirits, five ghosts."

With that, Du Wei started looking around for a ladder. For someone like him without professional training, climbing to the roof of the Horror House on a rainy day was almost impossible, and it was very easy to risk a fall.

Tom, hearing this, turned extremely pale.

He hesitated as he looked at Du Wei and said helplessly, "Don't move, let me do it."

Du Wei turned to look at him, puzzled.

Tom sighed and said, "I graduated from the police academy. Even though I was not among the best, climbing a roof is not difficult for me. I'll climb up first and then pull you up."

Du Wei shrugged, "Be careful."

Tom waved his hand to show he understood, then set his umbrella aside, checked for grip points, and with a dive, grabbed onto the Horror House's wall where a ghost-face relief was carved.

After that, he gritted his teeth, pushed off, and skillfully climbed onto the roof.

"Fuck! What the hell is this?"

From above, Tom's voice was full of shock. He turned his head and called down to Du Wei, "You were right; someone indeed left something on the roof. It looks very much like something those crazy Veda Sect people would do."

Without hesitation, Du Wei said, "Pull me up!"

As he spoke, he imitated Tom's previous action, dived forward, and grabbed onto the ghost-face relief, then extended his hand towards Tom.

Tom, realizing the gravity of the situation, grabbed Du Wei, and with gritted teeth and a face red with exertion, he pulled him up.

"Be careful, it's very slippery up here..."

"It's fine."

Du Wei's voice was steady; he cared little about his body getting soaked by the rain as he looked towards the surface of the roof...

There was a huge pattern, like a spider web.

Outlined in black unidentified paint, it formed an enormous Pentagram, and around the edges, it was enclosed with circular double lines.

Each point of the Pentagram had a blank space, as if it was meant for a Sacrifice.

But clearly, those Sacrifices had all been taken away by now.

In the center of the Pentagram, one could faintly make out the outline of a human figure that the rain had already washed away for the most part.

And according to church records, this belonged to primal worship...

The object of worship was none other than Satan.
