Chapter 205 Virus Outbreak In The Diviner World

Lucy blinked, her golden eyes narrowing slightly, though she remained silent as Linsley continued. "The universe is still ruled by the Outer Gods' faction. My duty is to exterminate them, to ensure that no one else suffers under their influence. Until that's done, I can't afford any distractions—not even ones that mean as much as you do to me."

Lucy's wings fluttered briefly, and though her expression was unreadable, she gave a faint nod. "I understand," she said quietly. "Do what you need to do, Linsley. I'll be here when you're ready."

Ted cleared his throat, awkwardly breaking the moment. "So, uh, we're all in agreement then? Unify the world, eradicate the remnants of the Outer Gods, and deal with that virus? Sounds like a solid plan."

Aurielle chuckled, crossing her arms as her flux flickered mischievously. "Oh, definitely a plan. Though I have to say, the whole heartfelt confession thing really raised the stakes. Don't screw this up, Linsley."

Linsley shot Aurielle a sharp look, his tone cooling. "This isn't about personal stakes. This is about ensuring the survival of the Diviner World and preparing for what's next. The Outer Gods won't wait, and neither will I."

Lucy gave a slight nod, her wings unfurling slightly. "Whatever path you choose, Linsley, I'll walk it with you. Just like I always have."

Ted grinned, his determination shining. "Count me in, bro. Let's finish this."

Aurielle smirked, pushing off the wall. "Oh, I'm already in. This is going to be way too much fun to miss."

Linsley's white flux flared, resonating with power as he gestured toward the glowing screens. "First, we'll secure control over the remaining territories. Then, we'll root out the Outer Gods' remnants and eradicate the virus."

The glowing screens shifted, displaying the nine continents of the Diviner World. Of these, five were human-dominated, their territories fragmented by politics, alliances, and the creeping spread of the unknown virus.

The remaining four continents, ruled by powerful monster species, showed their own signs of turmoil—entire monster clans succumbing to the infection, transforming into mindless engines of destruction.

Linsley turned to the group, his gaze sharp and resolute. "Both. We'll take a multi-pronged approach."

He gestured to Lucy. "You'll take the Gale Continent. Their Overlords are fragmented and need to be brought under control. Use both your gifts if necessary—show them they don't have a choice."

Lucy's golden eyes gleamed, her voice calm and resolute. "Understood. I'll make sure they fall in line."

Linsley shifted his gaze to Ted. "You'll secure the eastern regions of the Valora Continent. Contain the infected zones, stabilize the areas, and eradicate the virus before it spreads further."

Ted's fists clenched, his brown flux flaring briefly. "Count on me. I'll handle it."

Finally, Linsley addressed Aurielle. "You'll handle the Dragon and Bear Continents. Coordinate with their leaders if possible, but eliminate the most dangerous infected beasts and disrupt the spread of the virus."

Aurielle smirked, her violet eyes glowing faintly. "Oh, so I get to tangle with the dragons and bears? Perfect. Don't worry, I'll remind them who's really at the top of the food chain."

Linsley's white flux pulsed faintly as he gestured toward the screens again. "I'll take the Fierce Monster and Bird Continents. I'll unite the monster clans and eliminate their infected leaders."

Lucy stepped forward, her wings unfurling slightly. "You've already rewritten the Astral Dominion into order. Now, we'll secure the rest of the world."

Ted grinned, his determination shining. "We've got this, bro. Let's finish what the Sinclair Order couldn't."

Aurielle chuckled, her energy unrelenting. "Oh, this is shaping up to be fun. Let's see who's foolish enough to stand in our way."

Linsley's voice resonated through the chamber, cold and commanding. "No hesitation. No mistakes. The Diviner World will be unified—not through faith or divine promises, but through strength and order. Let's move."
