In the goblin cave, a girl who had removed her protective gear quietly walked out of her room, holding a small magic glowing stone. She gently knocked on the tightly closed, obscure door of another room deeper inside.

The owner of the room slowly opened the door, smiling, and welcomed the girl in.

The door closed slowly once again.

Chapter 49: Great, There’s a Woman Inside

The three held their breaths, waiting for the sound to fade away.

“What was that noise just now outside?”

“I don’t know, maybe there are goblins patrolling outside, preventing us from getting closer to the depths of the cave.”

Kita and Kuruk both smiled and made a gesture of agreement. The three of them trod lightly in the underground passages of the goblin cave, making subtle noises as they hastened their pace, approaching the depths of the cave.

When they reached the lower levels of the goblin cave, the assassin Kita took the lead to pave the way.

Kita moved forward with absolute ease, treading slowly on the ground of the passage.

The ominous feeling in the hearts of the three became more intense. The sense of unease grew heavier.

Kuruk immediately chose to break down the door, pushing aside the others and using his own body to forcefully push open the not-so-solid door.

“Tarian! What happened to you!”

The three burst into the room, their anxious shouts echoing out, but there was nothing to be seen.

The room was empty, devoid of any figures.

The three’s faces changed drastically. Recalling the commotion outside the passage when they left and the sounds they heard passing by the elf’s room, their faces suddenly turned extremely pale.

Sensing that something bad had happened, the three, unable to believe it, rushed to the door outside Mr. Elf’s room. This time, they didn’t even bother to knock on the door. The three simultaneously slammed into the door, breaking it down and rushing in.

As the fragile door flew open, the three barged into Mr. Elf’s room and witnessed a scene that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

The girl they had been thinking of incessantly, the one they couldn’t bear to touch, had been thoroughly defiled by someone else.

“No! Tarian!!!”

Angry roars echoed in the room.

The refined Mr. Elf stood by the bed where the girl lay asleep, calmly dressing himself. He glanced at the furious intruders outside the door, his eyes widening as he saw their gradually contorted expressions while they looked at the girl sleeping soundly under the covers.

Chen Le finished dressing and stepped in front of the three, gently raising his head and spreading his hands, blocking their view of the woman, a slight smirk playing on his lips.

“Is there something wrong, gentlemen?”

“You bastard! What did you do to her!”

Kita yelled hysterically, but it didn’t wake the sleeping girl on the bed. She seemed too exhausted, as if the movements on the bed were more tiring than a day of intense battle, and she had fallen into a deep sleep on Mr. Elf’s bed, not waking up until she had replenished her strength.

“What did I do? Didn’t you see it for yourselves?”

Chen Le smiled amiably, the golden pupils in his eyes emitting a strange magical glow.

“Are you perhaps interested in the detailed process of my encounter with Miss Tarian tonight? From entering the room, undressing, getting into bed, to now? This is the personal privacy of Miss Tarian and me.”

“How could this be! How could this be! What kind of magic did you use to control her, you devil!”

The three were seething with anger, flames of fury burning in their chests.

“Magic control?”

Chen Le shook his head with a smile, the eerie glow in his magical eyes deepening.

“Unfortunately, I only accelerated the rate at which she developed affection for me. With a trivial desire, I sketched out the grand fantasies in her heart.

Men in this world stop at nothing for power and authority. What about women?”

With that, Chen Le spread his hands open.

“I didn’t force her to do anything. She willingly came to my room.”

“I’ll kill you!”

The three’s minds instantly collapsed, and they lunged at Chen Le, seeming to want to tear him apart alive.

But they seemed to have forgotten who the true master of this fearful goblin cave was.

A warrior, a bare-handed archer, an assassin—losing their senses, they abandoned most of their weapons and charged.

Chen Le raised his hand and caught the punches and short blade swung at him, ignoring the archer’s attacks.

The archer was quite strong, but without weapons, his fists barely left a red mark on Chen Le’s face.

In the next moment, the three were simultaneously kicked away. One crashed into the wall, one flew out of the door, and the other was lifted up by the throat, slowly raised into the air.

Although Chen Le wasn’t particularly strong, he was not someone anyone could bully.

The two on the ground struggled to get up, fumbling for their weapons, but they had come out in a hurry and hadn’t brought enough weapons and armor.

Yet, before the remaining two could continue their attack, footsteps crowded both sides of the passage outside.

The goblins showed their grinning faces as they slowly approached.

It turned out that all the peace here was just an illusion, a performance by the ugly goblins to lull their prey into a false sense of security.
