Chapter 43: MC's Should Be Able To Fly!

While the system notifications chimed, all of Lucifer's clones began plummeting toward the ground.

"How can I not fly yet...? Is everyone sure that I'm the MC? Because a true MC should be able to fly..."

Lucifer's voice streamed through the skies, and he had to think fast if he wanted to find a way out of this predicament without ending up like meat splatter on the ground.

"Wait... I forgot that I had clones..."

Thinking quickly, Lucifer directed his clones to glide toward him, forming a pile beneath him.

"This is the true purpose of having clones. After all, how else could I do this without their assistance?"

Lucifer used his embryonic divine sense to observe the growing mountain of bodies that had formed beneath him. It was only after a total of 500 clones had stacked on top of each other that he had them use active force resistance techniques.

After everything was said and done, dark red filaments encapsulated all the clones, who clung tightly to one another.

All of this was done in order to cushion the fall of the main body—

"Wait... This isn't my main body..."

Lucifer felt like an absolute idiot, realizing that he wasted all that effort and body pyramid building. And for what?

"Well, shit. Now I don't even wanna have these clones survive the fall, but..."

He jumped from the mountain of falling clones, transferring his consciousness to one of the many other clones stored in his Clone Storage. After which, he absorbed all the falling clones, leaving no stragglers behind.

"Work smarter, not harder," Lucifer muttered, his thicc milf figure disappearing from view.

He didn't even notice how well-sculpted the curves were on this clone. But by the time he did, he switched clones faster than the flip of a dime!

While Lucifer grappled with a minor midlife crisis, a number of system notifications flooded his head, informing him of all the delicious loot that he had just acquired.

"What the actual Fuck!?" Lucifer interrupted the pop-ups, his eyes glued at the screen.

The Crystal Elemental Qi violently swirled inside the Crystal Elemental Spiritual Pool as Lucifer attempted to advance his Crystal Elemental Body into Stage 12.

The breakthrough went off without a hitch; however, the moment it concluded, something inexplicable occurred at the core of his existence.

The Stage 12 Crystal Elemental Body and Stage 12 Fire Elemental Body clashed with one another, seemingly vying for dominance!

"What the hell is going on—... Ahh, so this is the outcome. Well, I can work with this... I can work with it very well..."

A creepy smirk spread across Lucifer's face as he allowed the two conflicting Elemental Bodies to clash.

After a few minutes of intense struggle between the two peak-level Elemental Bodies, wanting to determine the winner, the inner conflict finally came to an end. However, contrary to the belief that there would emerge a single victor, it was the impossible that occurred...

"A source... The power of Yin-Yang is truly something that allows a koi to leap through the dragon gate and become a true dragon."

Lucifer gazed inside his Dantian Space, observing the result of the clash between his Crystal and Fire Elemental Body.

At the center of his existence, right next to his brilliantly glowing Dantian, lay another sphere of light. This one, unlike his Dantian, was far more mysterious.

It was half purple and half red—also commonly known as a source!

A source was the fusion of two contradicting aspects of existence. Whether that be the relationship that oil had with water or even the relation between fire and water.

But in this particular situation, it wasn't either of those. It was instead the result of what would happen when one attempted to reach the absolute peak of two different Elemental Bodies.

'The Blazing Crystal Source...'

That was the name given to this completely unique source. A name that even his soul instinctively deemed to be the correct choice to name the first of many to come.

'With this source, my cultivation speed should have increased by leaps and bounds.'
