With this in mind, Lord Xiao took heavy steps toward his sixth son. After making it a few feet away from him, he asked, "Why are you here? Are you not aware of the powerful forces currently attacking us?"
Even though Lucifer was not for certain, he could most definitely feel that his father held a small amount of disdain in his voice.

Yan Chao was the first one to speak up. His voice was slightly apologetic in the beginning and then domineering and young-master-like toward the end.
Overall, the subtle brainwashing conducted by Lucifer was enough to have the two idiots at just the right level of character modulation. Which was to say that not a single person found their behavior all that suspicious.
That was especially the case when everyone recalled the various scandles that Yan Chao and Yan Xue always found themselves in.
On multiple occasions, they would be seen drinking and sleeping around with whoever they pleased. In other words, their words were worth about as much as horse dung smeared in dog shit!
It was also because of this fact that the mothers of both the men said nothing much when they told them of what Lucifer had done.
