I sighed as the constant court battles I had with my sister were taking a toll on my health. I was stressed, even now I just wanted to go up to my office and relax for a few minutes before I got back to work. That was why when the elevator opened up into my office and I saw someone sitting in my chair I was both shocked and angry.

The only two people who had access to this floor were me and my personal assistant Mercy. What pissed me off even more is I recognized the man. She’s just busy with something more important than watching you die.” I scoffed at his claim. “What, you’re going to kill me in this office? The office that overlooks Superman’s workplace. But why would I kill you when you’re going to die anyway?”

I felt a slight sting in my heart that erupted into intense pain as I grabbed my chest I asked. “W-what did you do?” He ashed the cigar putting it out as I noticed he wasn’t actually smoking it, just having it lit in his mouth. “Oh, nothing much. It’s just the last time I met you I spread the cancer in your body towards your heart. You’d have eventually died from Kryptonian radiation poisoning but I just sped it up a tiny bit so you wouldn’t notice until it was too late.”

I fell down trying to hit the buttons on the elevator as it became harder and harder to breathe as he kept gloating. “Can you believe how perfectly timed that was?
