A man made his way cloaked into a roped-off section of the core building on Krakoa. Two almost silent gunshots go off as he deals with the paltry guards they left to guard the heart of Krakoa. The island greedily drinking in the blood and bodies of the slain mutants. This go around the island would be fed mutant criminals or just mutants dying from old age. There was still no way for them to come back to life if they died.
The man made his way over to a display case holding the Captain Krakoa suit, he went to break it when he heard a voice come from behind him. “Not so fast ya goofball. I need that for my plans.” The moment he turned towards the voice, gun raised in the air, he was blindsided with a flurry of punches and kicks. All of them came faster than he could handle beating him unconscious in a second and dead in the next.
As the unseen man steps up to the display, his face reflects back allowing it to be seen that it is none other than Pietro Maximoff(Aka Quicksilver). He grabs the gun off the man's dead corpse and takes aim firing and breaking the bulletproof glass. The man's gun was designed to shatter the shatterproof glass for the mission he was sent on.
He easily breaks through and the next moment while the glass is still falling Pietro is already inside the suit and getting used to his newfound power. “Yeah, that’ll do. That’ll do nicely.”

I sipped on my non-alcoholic tea as I looked around the crowds. This was the mutant area of the party. The main human bigwigs were mostly dealt with as I made arrangements to meet and speak with many of them at a later time. They were important enough to waste my time, even the men as they could help me politically in the future and push through ideas for the right price.
The next was more obvious as both Mercury and Dust were both extremely powerful and beautiful. As silly as Charles could be sometimes he knew how to put his best foot forwards in his teams. He smiles like he is about to reveal the biggest secret ever as he says. “And for the returning leadership of the team, we have two people coming back. The first is Bobby Drake, or as most of you will know him as Iceman!”
He plays it up as Iceman comes gliding over him making an ice ramp as he lands in a tumble before jumping up to a round of cheers and applause. The applause lasts longer than anyone else but Charles raises his hands showing them to calm down before the last person is revealed. “And, for the leader of the New X-men, we have. You all know him and love him. It’s Quicksilver wearing the Captain Krakoa costume!”
He just appears next to him suddenly, the outfit hiding his face but the speed making it clear who is underneath the suit. The crowd sits in silence for a half second before they burst into outright screaming applause. They’re so loud it puts everyone else's entrance to shame as even I almost want to clap. The cheering was overwhelming and just as I thought it would go on forever Charles signaled for them to quiet down again.
He spoke again in a way that showed he wasn’t done with surprises yet as he signaled. “And, we have a surprise guest and another returner who came back from his mission just in time to join this new team temporarily! Wolverine has come back!” As Wolverine walks through the crowd I get the sense that something is wrong. He makes it to the stage and motions for the mic before I cut him off. “That’s not Wolverine. That’s a robot.”
