While Samuel was chatting with Dina on the back, Peter was having a lot of fun by dealing with these magic beasts.

Dina did clear out some of the magic beasts, but they were quickly replenished by the magic beasts coming out of the passage.

Though, Peter also knew that Riya warned him that if he bathed in blood for a few days' straight, the formation will still fail.

After all, there was a limit to how much the clothes could clean itself.

Forming a large crater not far from the entrance of the passage, Peter panted slightly and looked at the magic beasts coming out with a frown. He had been fighting fiercely and energetically for a period of time, but the magic beasts seemed endless.

It seemed that this battle would still last for a long time.

"If you're tired, you can go back and rest, Peter."

"Hmm?" Peter turned around and seeing that Dina was still watching while calmly refine the magic beasts' cores and some higher ranked magic beasts' blood to replenish her strength, Peter felt that he could take a short break.

"You're not going to continue fighting on the frontline?" Samuel asked lightly.

"Ah..." Peter shrugged and then replied, "The soldiers can hold on temporarily. I think you're staying here for a reason, right?"

"I'm just giving the stage to them," Samuel replied as he looked at the large number of soldiers who were busy fighting these magic beasts. "They have worked hard to prepare for the past year and it's only right to give them the chance to showcase their abilities and see whether their preparation is good enough."

Returnees were only returnees.
