Samuel nodded.

The two of them were walking back to the Jones Family Residence when he suddenly asked another question, "Is it not possible to make rank 2 space storage scrolls?"

"Rank 2 space storage scroll is 10 times bigger than rank 1 space storage scrolls," Riya said slowly. "And ordinary paper would not be able to hold the mana."

"Isn't there a way to replace these papers?" Samuel asked again.

A way to replace it?

Riya pursed her lips and then said, "Magic beasts' skin can be used, but it's not that easy to process the leather and not all magic beasts' skin can be used."

Samuel smirked when he heard this.

To be honest, he didn't expect that Riya would give him answer. After all, the importance of those special paper for rune master was very clear. Without the special paper that could conduct mana, it would be hard for these rune master to make higher ranked magic scrolls.

But now, Riya had given him the answer.

"None of these magic beasts' skin can be used." Riya had checked the magic beasts that attacked City A Base and didn't find any of them that could be used.

"Not even the higher ranks?"

"Higher ranks... Well, some of the rank 2 magic beasts such as the white panther can be used, but can you process their leather?" Riya asked another question back to Samuel.

Processing these leathers were not easy.

At least, if they only wanted to make an armor, it would be easier. But if they wanted to make it into talisman paper, they had to make sure that the surface was smooth, dry and could conduct mana well.

It was not that easy to do.

After all, these magic beasts' skins were either too rigid or too hard to mold.

Once it was done, Riya deboned the rest of the magic beasts' body. Their meat and intestines were thrown to the white tiger, who kept on eating as if it was extremely hungry.

The bones were kept.

Well, not all of them.

The smaller ones were thrown away and only the few big ones were kept.

Afterwards, Riya grind the bones to make relatively flat bones before cutting them off in the shape of square or circle depending on the materials itself. These would be used as the main material for formation plate.

It was not like Riya couldn't use the jade, but the jade would definitely exhausted in the future and not all of them have big sizes.

Many of these magic beasts were pretty big, so their bones were of considerable size too.

These plates that Riya made were only around the size of her palm, though.

"Now, time to make more formations~."

Riya took a deep breath before she started to draw more formations on these plates.

For hours, she repeated the process of drawing, recovering mana, and then draw more formation plates.

When it was night time, Riya had already finished making a pile of formation plates.

There were many formations that she had made and she only needed to activate it using mana before it could run on its own.
