Cain looked up and saw a double knee headed for his face. He didn't know how to react in that instant, so he quickly used both hands to try and block the attack.

Silva smiled as he saw this, but he didn't back down. He landed the hit—his knee slammed into Cain's arms. The loud cracking sounds of bones could be heard. Cain let out a loud growl of pain and staggered backward, his hands flying loosely as he went.

The crowd watched this in shock. They couldn't understand how Silva's small body was able to exert so much force that he was able to dominate Cain.

Those who had bet on Silva's definite loss were now panicking, holding on to the tiny sliver of hope that Cain would somehow turn the situation around and be the one to win at the end of the day.

Silva didn't have plans to let Cain walk out of there as a winner, though. Because he had weakened himself, this fight was actually exciting—he didn't want to stop.

Silva stared at the struggling Cain like he was prey about to be captured, and in the next instant, his feet kicked off the ground.

He ran at top speed. He got right before Cain. Cain thought to use his legs to try and push Silva back, but as he raised his leg, Silva came to a quick stop, causing Cain's leg to miss. Then Silva grabbed the leg and pulled it—he pulled it so hard that Cain came stumbling forward.

Silva then made a flip with one leg extended, and from above, his foot slammed into Cain's head, sending it plummeting down like a rocket. Cain's head struck the floor with a massive bang, bounced up, splattering blood, and then fell back to the ground.

The referee was so shocked that he didn't even rush over to check. It was only after a few seconds that he realized Cain was not moving, so he ran over there to check on him. But as he bent low, Cain growled. He used the core of his body to turn around on the ground, his face looking up.

His entire face was covered in blood, and his arms had been heavily cracked, but the fight was not yet over. He forced himself up, and as he stood, the crowd erupted into cheers.

Cain looked at Silva. There was a glow in his eyes—not of rage, not of anger, but of excitement. Cain hadn't had a fight that truly pushed his limits in a while. He had never felt like he was strong enough to beat someone yet unable to do so. That was the feeling he had while fighting Silva.

He felt like Silva was just within his grasp, yet he still could not reach him. So he wanted to push harder, drive harder, strive harder, and win this.

Silva saw the look in his eyes and couldn't help but be amazed—the spirit of a true fighter.

Cain charged at Silva, his speed almost double that of before. His feet barely touched the ground before the other was in front.

'You fought well, Cain,' Silva thought. Cain's kick traveled for his face, but Silva leaned back and dodged it.

'You showed that you are indeed a formidable opponent,' Silva thought as he parried a very fast punch.

'If it were against anyone else, you would have won—there is no doubt about that,' Silva thought as he blocked another punch and was pushed back.

'But life is unfair, and I was your opponent.'

Silva suddenly moved, his speed faster than before, but Cain could still see it—the issue was blocking or countering.

It looked like Silva was about to land a punch. Cain blocked, but the punch never came. When Cain opened his arms, he saw an uppercut coming from below—so fast that he couldn't even react.

Silva's fist collided with Cain's face, and it was like a gunshot had gone off. Cain flew into the air, made an arc, and fell to the ground—unmoving.
