Chapter 151 - Dense, Too Dense

Chapter 151 - Dense, Too Dense

Caedrel continued to stare at me dead in the eyes as there was a slight red hue on both his cheeks.

However, I was in an even worse state than him. I could feel the stares coming from all around me. Everyone was looking at me, observing my every movement. I had no shame. I was sitting on his lap, my arms wrapped around his neck, my hot breathing rubbing against his neck.

Still, he wasn't pushing me away from him, which meant that I was doing something right... right?

"How is it?" I asked, looking away from him...

The look in his eyes was too intense for me to keep it up. I didn't know how to say it, but he looked as if he wanted to devour me, but at the same time, the look in his eyes also seemed void of any intentions. Or, maybe I was just being crazy since Caedrel still hadn't wrapped his arms around me.

"I-It's definitely nice," he muttered, stuttering a little. "Though, I'm not too sure if it's the best hug I ever had. Let's stay like this for another minute or two... it might give me a better idea."

When he uttered those words... a smile formed on my face. It confirmed that he definitely liked me being so close to him... I also liked feeling his warm body against mine. I could feel his strong muscles pressing against my body.

"Um... is that so?" I said with a slight smirk, as I was still very shy about my actions.

More and more people started to notice us, just staring at the two of us.

I got a bit closer to Caedrel and whispered, "How about you hug me back? It might make it even better..."

Right as he uttered those words, Caedrel's arms moved on their own. He placed his hands around my slim waist tightly, keeping me in place as if he could lift me up any time he wanted, and it only made me even more excited than I was beforehand.

"Caedrel... do you know why I'm currently hugging you?" I finally asked, disappointed by how things were progressing.

I had thought that he wanted more from me when he asked me to hug him longer and stay in this position. But he wasn't doing anything yet, which meant that I needed to be even more direct than this if I wanted a chance with him.

However, I was just very shy in general. Being so open about my feelings, especially for someone of my stature, wasn't something that I was used to doing. Usually, men were lining up trying to obtain me... it wasn't the other way around. It was my first time trying to seduce a man, and it seemed like I wasn't the best at it... unfortunately.

"Uh, I thought it was because you were cold and for you to warm yourself up. Is that not the reason why you're doing this?"

I sighed when I heard what he said. Why would I hug you that way if I just wanted to warm myself up... how did he even think that this was a normal position. He was even more dense than I originally thought. You had to be absolutely stupid not to realize what I was doing right now.

I blushed even harder because of that answer. "Noooo... that's not the reason why I'm doing this. Try again."

This time, he took a few seconds to ponder about his answers.

"You wanted to get closer to me?"

I clicked my tongue. "Kind of... I-I wanted to show you that I like you, idiot."

Caedrel's eyes widened. "You like me? Since when... and how?"

I just facepalmed myself. He truly hadn't understood any of the hints that I had tried to give him times and times again as we walked toward the Icy Lake. I was honestly disappointed with him.
