The Ambassadors of the Star Alliance appeared before Alexander as they claimed to be here to protect!
To include what they called a Star Realm- what the budding changes of Ephesus ultimately led to, into their force.
The alternative was something that they painted a picture of as being tremendously worse.
That if it wasn't them who were here, it would be the entities from the Dark Ruler or the Beast Alliance who would enslave or wantonly murder the natives of Ephesus!

Because at this moment, what he faced was not just five Void Rulers- it was an unknown number of Void Rulers in this so called Star Alliance, and very likely much more powerful entities apart from them.
Since they were painting themselves to be good guys- whether this remained to be true or not, with Alexander being entirely skeptical as there were no truly good people out there- only those seeking their own benefits...he would go with them over the other forces he had not come across yet!
Another was aligned with beasts as he expected terrifying entities like Dragons to be among them, and the other held a name termed the Dark Rule as he held no information on them.
He could not fight against an unknown number of entities from an entire Alliance within a Star System as what he could do now...was buy time.
With his rate of Understanding and Assimilation of the Covenants of Nature, as well as what he could potentially gain in the Sacred Mountains of Ephesus... and he was confident that from whatever stage of power lay past a Void Ruler he could grasp it in a short period of time.
And by that point, he would have learned a lot more information regarding this Star Alliance, as well as what else Ephesus held around it.
When that time came, the level of power he held at that point in time would be enough to stand against these new entrants!
[This right here, is the Flag of the Alliance. Something that will unleash a Star Barrier to cover a Star Realm in its entirety. This Star Barrier is enough to hold off against the attacks of a strong Void Ruler for at least a full minute, and is one of the critical means in the Star Alliance in protecting its forces. At the moment that we have this laid out, if any forces of the Dark Rule or the Beast Alliance come by, they will think twice before attacking as they will not know just how much of our forces might be lying within. This flag of the Alliance acts as a deterrent as any power that invades it is akin to the invasion of the alliance itself- and it could very likely spark a war. The leading Ambassador nodded and smiled as they floated beside Alexander, waving the flag towards Ephesus as it anchored itself in space ten miles away from them.
There it radiated golden white brilliance as a dazzling white gold barrier began to spread from it and expand outwards.
