The Empyreal Gem Master

Chapter 54: Dignity! II

Chapter 54: Dignity! II

His hand pulsed with crimson lightning as it plunged into the chest of the Tier 5 Elven Beast of Corruption, very soon pulling out as it held a massive Ascendant Life Gem.

It was a gory scene that caused the two Tier 4 Elven Beasts to tremble even more.

At this time.

"Nueire."

Alexander called out calmly as his Minion understood right away.

Thick vines shot out and pierced into the headless body of Elder Dadarius, wrapping around his Five-Link Gem Sockets as Alexander turned behind him while wiping away the blood on his chest!

"Uncle Azazel."

He called out to the man who used to be a Tier 3 Gem Master not too long ago as Azazel stepped forward unconsciously, the familiar scene of a vine piercing into his chest occurring again before his mind could fully accept what was even happening.

Conquer. Get stronger.

’Only then...’

Alexander’s eyes were bright.

Days ago, he couldn’t have imagined standing against a Tier 5 Beast of Corruption, nor even come close to his revenge against the Elven Beasts of Corruption this quickly.

But they were out of their Tier 5 Breach.

They were mixed in across Ephesus in nearby lands as some were even within an army of Beasts of Corruption that was being gathered to assault a major Ascendant Fortress!

Nearby, there were a few Strongholds that the Galanis and Asmodeus Ascendant Bloodlines protected within a few thousand miles.

If the Galanis Bloodline was already working with Beasts, it was easy to put together which Strongholds they may be targeting.

But such an army...the Tier 5 Elven Beast of corruption stated that he initiated a signal to first call it over here!

How powerful would such an army meant to tackle an Ascendant Stronghold be?

Before, he might have been fearful and filled with caution.

Now, he would only be cautious but look forward to what he could obtain from such an army if he took it down!

Ascendant Life Gems. New Gem Recipes. Information. Revenge. Power.

All of it didn’t come free, and he had to take it all for himself!

He seemed to be pondering when all of a sudden...

"Elder Commander! Elder Commander!"

A shout echoed out from outside the tent with a sense of hurriedness.

"Stop squabbling and come in!"

The Elder Commander roared out as his horns shone, the tent opening to reveal a Tier 4 Elven Beast of Corruption that held a flashing verdant Gem in his hands.

He knelt while hurriedly speaking out.

"Elder Commander Lidar, Elder Dadarius has crushed his Distress Gem as he has likely faced a perilous situation and is calling for aid!"

...!

The words caused the brows of the Elder Commander Lidar to rise in surprise.

Dadarius?

One of his Tier 5 Elders was actually placed in such a predicament?

He thought of something calmly before his magnetic and powerful voice echoed out.

"Was he not tasked with getting more Tier 4 Soldiers who were placed within a lowly-ranking human city? How could he face danger there? Did these vile humans break their word?! But even then, those who are there shouldn’t even be capable of hurting Dadarius!"

The Elder Commander roared out as he thought out loud.

Before him, the Tier 4 Elven Beast remained kneeling without saying a thing as the Elder Commander’s face became all that much more furious.

"These humans...they have killed too many of our people as we only seek to find lands to survive from our dying world. We just seek a home...and they go to all lengths to prevent us from doing this! Their complete eradication is the only solution..."

...!

Terrifying words echoed out from him as he rose from his throne.

"So what if they were here first? No world is designated as belonging to any race before it undergoes Ascension. We have a right to Ephesus just as much as they do, and if they think they can stand in our way...HMPH!"

He walked towards one of the humans lifelessly thrown on the tent as his leg crushed down above them, crimson blood and gore flying out and painting the fabric of the tent.

"Let us go see what tricks they have used this time to put Dadarius in a predicament. Our Target was the Ascendant City of Persepolis, yes? I will talk to the other Elder Commanders to make a slight detour..."

...!
