Chapter 232 Goddess Of Wealth And Knowledge 1
Naomi sat on the couch in her dimly lit living room, her wide eyes locked onto Adams as she processed everything he had just told her. The air between them felt electric, charged with something she couldn't quite describe.
"So, let me get this straight..." she started, her voice slightly shaky. "You're an omnipotent being. You're not human, not a god, not a demon, not an angel... not anything from mythology. You're beyond all of that. Stronger than gods. Like... the one above all?"
Adams simply smiled, leaning back in his chair. His gaze was calm, unwavering.
"That's right," he said.
Naomi exhaled sharply, running a hand through her hair. "What the hell, man? That's... that's insane." She looked at him again, her mind racing. "If you're not a god, then what are you?"
Adams leaned forward slightly, his golden eyes glowing faintly in the low light. "I'm Chaos."
Naomi blinked. "Chaos?"
Adams nodded. "The force before everything. Before light, before darkness, before gods, before reality itself. I don't follow the laws of the universe because I created them. I exist beyond time, beyond space, beyond meaning itself. Gods... they rule over things—fire, war, love, death. But I..." He smirked. "I rule over everything and nothing at the same time. I am the origin, the ending, and everything in between."
Naomi swallowed hard. It was too much to take in. Even after everything she'd seen, part of her still couldn't believe it.
She leaned forward, her hands clasped together as she stared him down. "Okay. Even if I believe you—which I don't, not fully—I still need proof."
Adams chuckled. "I figured you'd say that."
He sat up straighter, resting his elbows on his knees. "Tell me, Naomi... what do you desire?"
She raised an eyebrow. "Desire?"
"Yes. A wish. Anything you want."
Naomi scoffed, leaning back. "If you're really stronger than gods, that means you can do what they do, right? You can grant wishes?" She let out a dry laugh. "Fine. I've chased knowledge since I was a kid. Wealth too. I always thought I'd work my way up, but life had other plans. I spent years looking for jobs, struggling, then when I quit searching and tried to start something of my own, I got laughed at. No investors, no chances. It was like fate was mocking me."
She stared at him, her lips pressing together. "So, if you're really what you say you are... grant me my wish."
Her body glowed, her clothes shifting into elegant robes laced with divine energy, golden embroidery forming intricate patterns across the fabric. Her hair grew longer, flowing like liquid gold, her eyes burning with wisdom and brilliance. The aura around her surged, cracking the very space around her as reality itself bent to acknowledge her transformation.
She was no longer human.
She was the Goddess of Wealth and Knowledge.
Naomi stood there, her body still glowing with divine energy, her golden robes flowing as if caught in an unseen breeze. Her hands clenched and unclenched, the sheer power coursing through her veins almost overwhelming. She took a deep breath, steadying herself before looking at Adams.
"Just this night, I was wondering about the secrets of the universe," she mused, her voice smooth but carrying a newfound weight. She smirked, tilting her head. "Turns out there's a whole Omniverse out there."
Adams chuckled, watching her with an amused glint in his golden eyes.
Naomi's gaze lingered on him for a second before she crossed her arms. "So... I'm the eighth wife?" She raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips. "Impressive. Thought you'd have thousands by now."
Adams sighed, shaking his head. "And here I thought you'd be more shocked about becoming a literal goddess."
Naomi let out a soft laugh before settling onto the couch, lounging like a queen who had just claimed her throne. She stretched her arms over the backrest, her golden nails glinting under the dim light.
"Now I can become a business tycoon in the Omniverse," she said casually, as if discussing weekend plans.
Adams rubbed his temples. "Naomi, you already have all the wealth now. You can do anything you want."
She grinned, resting her cheek on her hand. "Exactly. That's why I'm going to run the Omniverse. Not just exist in it. Dominate it."
A spark of energy flickered in her golden eyes, the air around her humming as reality subtly bent to her will.
Adams exhaled, leaning back. "Here we go."
The camera panned out as golden light pulsed through the room, a silent acknowledgment that the game had changed. Naomi wasn't just any goddess—she was a force.
And the Omniverse had no idea what was coming.
