Seeing He Qianqian go in, Lin Tian quickly walked to her doorway.

Upon reaching the door, Lin Tian knocked.

"Who is it?" Back in the room, a weary He Qianqian had just taken off her white suit jacket when she heard the knock.

"Creak—!" As the door opened, He Qianqian saw Lin Tian standing at the threshold.

"Lin Tian, why haven't you left yet?" Seeing Lin Tian, He Qianqian was startled, her face filled with confusion.

"Teacher, I have something to show you." Lin Tian spoke as he stepped past He Qianqian into her dormitory.

"Hey, what are you doing!" He Qianqian was startled when she saw Lin Tian barge in.

After entering He Qianqian's room, Lin Tian glanced around. Her room was small, around ten square meters, but it was warmly decorated with little red stars hanging in the air.

"What are you doing, why did you just come in?" He Qianqian turned around and looked at Lin Tian with dissatisfaction on her face.

Lin Tian didn't speak but went straight to the desk next to him, then took something out of his pocket.

With Lin Tian's actions, dozens of lottery tickets were placed on the desk.

"What are you doing?" He Qianqian scanned the lottery tickets on the desk in confusion, then turned to look at Lin Tian.

"Teacher, I bought these tickets, and they haven't been scratched off yet. I know you need money, so I'm giving them all to you. Maybe you could win a big prize!" Lin Tian said cheerfully, pointing to the pile of tickets on the desk. Then he looked at Lin Tian with expectant eyes.

Hearing Lin Tian's words, He Qianqian was startled, then looked at the hopeful expression on Lin Tian's face, and then at the pile of tickets on the desk. Suddenly, she felt somewhat touched.

Although she knew that these tickets were unlikely to be of much help to her, it was rare for Lin Tian to show such thoughtfulness.

Unable to bear rejecting Lin Tian, He Qianqian shook her head with a wry smile, saying, "Well then, thank you. Let's see if I can win a big prize."

With that, He Qianqian approached the desk and began to scratch the lottery tickets.

The fourth ticket showed '100'. This made He Qianqian somewhat happy. After all, winning something was still good.

But the surprises were not over yet. The fifth, sixth, and seventh tickets ... the next dozen or so tickets consecutively had prizes.

There were even a few that were worth thousands.

This made He Qianqian start to get excited, and a flicker of hope began to grow inside her.

As she continued to scratch off tickets, the winnings kept coming, consistently high, but until the last ticket was scratched, none was worth tens of thousands.

After counting carefully, the forty-four tickets totaled twenty thousand yuan.

The fact that dozens of tickets could win twenty thousand was quite good, but compared to the amount He Qianqian needed, it was still far too little.

"Well then, I'll scratch it." Hearing He Qianqian's definite response, Lin Tian's eyes brightened, clutching the ticket tightly, not letting He Qianqian see it as he slowly scratched it.

A few seconds later, He Qianqian glanced at Lin Tian, who seemed mysterious, and asked, "So how is it?"

Lin Tian feigned distress, pulled a face, and said, "Not ten thousand!"

"I thought as much, such luck couldn't be true," He Qianqian said matter-of-factly.

"But!" Lin Tian lifted his eyebrows, grinned mischievously, and gently placed the ticket on the desk, "But it's more!"

"Huh?" He Qianqian instinctively looked towards the lottery ticket on the desk, towards the scratch-off area.

Upon seeing it, He Qianqian was stunned.

So many zeros!

She saw a 2 followed by many zeros!

"200,000?" He Qianqian gasped, carefully counting, five zeros. Behind the 2 were five zeros!

Was it really 200,000?

He Qianqian was dumbstruck.
