Warlock of Oceans: My Poseidon System

Chapter 97 Horrible Apology

Chapter 97 Horrible Apology

My hair fluttered in the bathroom, slowly reverting to its original dark green color, lightening the shade of my skin and allowing the jewelry I had been hiding to reveal itself.

"Hm? You're a teacher at the Academy of Blades, aren't you? I swear I've seen you before," The woman in front of me tilted one of her eyebrows. "Are you a spy meant to obtain information from the temple of light?"

"No, I was planted to establish good relations between the two temples, but you're severely fucking up my mission right now...."

"Huh? Why would we want to establish good relations?"

"You're too weak as of now to learn why. Rise up the ranks, and then you'll know the real reason why both of these temples exist."

...

Knock knock knock knock

Tapping on the wooden door, my knuckles grazed the hard surface, revealing a slightly red pigment that flourished from beneath my skin. This just showed how little I used my actual hands when fighting, as the backs of my hands were flawless, utterly opposite to my calloused palms.

"What is it, kid?" A girl asked, walking up to me from down the hall. She looked as if she was just passing by since she had her suitcase filled with her school supplies, most likely returning from an after-school club.

"Do you know where my sister is?" I asked bluntly, but the girl just gave me a blank stare before rubbing her eyes and letting out a light groan of exhaustion.

"I don't know who your sister is... so can I get a name or something?"

"Laura Claydol... is she back yet, or is she somewhere else right now?" I asked, this time with a bit more information, causing the passing girl to lightly chuckle.

"So you're the genius everybody is talking about... Cyrus Claydol, huh? Well, since your sister is the student council president, she should be at her office with the rest of the student council members," The girl smiled before continuing to walk down the hall, her glistening white hair flowing behind her like a translucent ghost.

She is strong. Way too strong... I doubt I could even land a scratch on her.

But the other student council members weren't pushovers. Black stone, green winds, purple flames, and a support so strong that it was able to double the power of the others enabled them to match the divine bird.

"Stay back," The supporter muttered, her light brown hair and golden eyes meeting mine as she pulled me away from the chaos.

Her healing capabilities were beyond impressive as well since she instantly healed my wounds, allowing me to gasp for air again whilst I bent over on my knees. My chest was on fire as sprinkles of those blue flames continued to ravage me from the inside.

"Damn, boy... what the hell did you do to get your sister so mad at you? She was seriously going to kill you," The supporter wearily chuckled, a drop of sweat rolling down her forehead and into her eye.

FWOOSH

But before I could answer, the phoenix disappeared with a mighty cry, leaving just my sister to sit in the middle of the room, unphased by the black chains coated with purple flames and tightly enforced with green winds.

Her eyes stayed on me, glaring with as much power as she could barely muster. As even after all of that, she had the strength to stay awake and begin scolding me.

"I might have said that you could fake it before, but after everything... after FUCKING EVERYTHING, THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD ACCEPT AN APOLOGY FROM SOMEBODY AS FAKE AS YOU! SO GET OUT! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Blue flames sparked from her eyes and the tips of her lips, her anger still persisting through everything as she ordered for me to leave. So I left. I ran out of the office whilst something in my chest throbbed so painfully that it stifled my breathing.

I wasn't sad, yet tears flowed from my eyes. I wasn't disappointed in myself, yet my lips somehow quivered on their own. It was the work of this previous body's owner... he was still inside of me, just deep down. And he loved her so much that it overflowed into me, even managing to create physical reactions such as tears and shaking.

"Fuck... fuck... fuck... fuck... I can't stop crying," I sniffled, wiping the mucus dripping from my nose and wiping the salty liquid from my eyes.

I couldn't stop crying. I just couldn't stop fucking crying as I ran. I ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran and ran until I found myself at the edge of the campus where all of the dungeons for students to farm were.

I ran in and began to destroy slimes in the pitifully weak dungeon all the way until nothing was left. And even after I had eradicated at least a hundred slimes, I found myself still sniffling, but now no more tears were flowing from my eyes.

"Hey, are you good?" A voice tickled the back of my neck, and as I turned around, I noticed an older woman with green lipstick, black hair, and pitch-black eyes staring right at me.

"You're... a teacher here. The one who specializes in the scythe...."
