Chapter 115 Entrance Scaling Exams (2)
His long ocean-blue hair trickled to his shoulders like the strands of a waterfall crashing down onto his collarbone. His stature was a bit taller than anybody else in our grade, and his body was decently defined, although you had to take into consideration that he had his school uniform on, so... he must have been much more defined than how he came off as.
His dark blue eyes suddenly began to scan across the room as he stood just barely in the auditorium. The doors behind him slammed closed, causing yet another gust of wind to rush into the room, this time ruffling the boy's dark blue hair.
Everybody felt the tension within the room rise as his foot slowly began to step forward, and his dark blue eyes drooped. They were colder and more menacing than any of the pro adventures we had encountered across our young and eager life. Our hair began to stand on edge, and with a single step toward the crowd, a blast of bloodlust and aura erupted from his body.
His entire body turned into a menacing silhouette from which only his eyes glowed a dark blue. They split off into tendrils of oceanic depth which said only one thing to the people analyzing him with ferocious glares.
'Don't get in my way.'

"Yeah, she came up to us thinking shit was sweet. But, I'm not gonna betray you even if the amount of money she proposed was a bit enticing... just be careful of the others though," Mari whispered as the elf announcer, who I guess was spearheading this entire test, took note of my presence.
"Don't worry. I've already sent them a message," I smiled back at Mari, who looked a bit confused. But all she needed to see was this grin that I had on my face to know I could handle myself.
"Seal, don't worry, I'll protect you," Asger smiled, giving me a thumbs up with both of his hands. Clearly, he was excited about this test, and so were my other siblings. I mean, even Petra, a girl who rarely even liked to fight, was excited to show our grade what we got.
Recently, and when I mean recently, I mean a few minutes ago, some surprising information had come to me. Apparently, there is a ranking that happens within your grade every year as we were in the middle school program, we were one of the first.
"You must be... that nobody towards the lower ranks. I can't believe this guy even hangs out with you... he must pity your poor weak soul. If you can't even beat this dimwit of first place in academics, then what do you hope to achieve with your life?"
"God, you're so fucking annoying. Can't you shut your trap, fish lips?" Mari stood up for her sister, who, to be honest, wasn't all that angry, but if somebody came for Petra, you just know Mari was there to beat the shit out of them. But, since her opponent this time was very strong, she couldn't do much besides talk shit back.
"And you... I don't recall your face. Hmmm... You must be even weaker than this nonexistent bug who claims to be your sister."
Mari was getting pretty angry as it looked like her forehead was about to bust a vein. She even stood up, the arrogant little prick matching her as lighting sparked between their eyes. Asger just sat next to me, unmoving but clearly agitated at this new foe of his.
"Alright! Next, we have the previous rank second, Evelyn Crestsplitter. Please come into the room so we can proceed with your test," The elf announced, causing the girl to click her tongue. She shot me an undeserved glare and then walked into the testing room, the massive sliding walls closing behind her.
"Crestsplitter?" Petra muttered, her eyes widening with surprise. She looked like she knew something, so I turned towards her.
"You know something about her family? I've never heard of that family before," I swiftly responded before hearing a loud roar erupting from the television. It startled the large crowd of kids, and even the ones who weren't interested in the slightest started to pay attention at the sight of the beast this girl had to face.
A naga. A snake-bodied monster with the head of a dragon. But seeing how this one only had one horn and it's tiny size, it must have been very young and weak. Although, that's something not to scoff at as a naga is a naga. Especially since the girl is so small, the dragon-headed snake only seemed bigger on the screen.
"Geez... what the hell.... Apparently, the Crestsplitter family is famous for absorbing other families. They're a very mixed family of various different races, but what is common throughout all of them is their white hair, pale white skin, ghastly white eyes, and their ghost-like appearance. In fact, I think the number one ranked student in our school is from that very same family."
"If they're that big, then how come I haven't heard of them before?"
"They're not ones to make public appearances. Only their head maybe once in a while, but even then, that is stretching it. And I will say they're strong. Really fucking strong."
As we turned back towards the television displaying the matches, we saw the naga had a massive split through its entire body. It had been cut vertically from the tip of its nose all the way to the end of its tail, which sparked with green flames.
"Damn, she's good."
